Garlic & Herb Festival – September 14, 2024

The Mohawk Valley’s climate and soils are ideal for growing garlic and herbs, which is why we have so many local producers. Ours is a non-profit agricultural festival; we aim to provide information to area would-be farmers and gardeners pertaining to the benefits of growing these crops. We also support the local arts community by including musicians and local artisans in our festival—and by donating a portion of the proceeds to our outstanding Canal Place neighbor and local non-profit Mohawk Valley Center for the Arts.

Cheese Festival – October 5, 2024

The Little Falls Cheese Festival has become known as New York State’s premier gathering of cheesemakers, reminiscent of its early history as the nation’s cheese market capital. With 80 booths, 22 New York cheesemakers, and over 120 varieties of cheese to sample, the 2022 festival drew an estimated 10,000 visitors to the community from all over the Northeast.
